1. Essential Daily Care for LED Screens
To prevent costly repairs and maintain optimal performance, follow these best practices:
Manage Run Time: Prolonged use can cause pixel aging and dead spots. Avoid running your screen continuously for more than 72 hours. Use the standby mode when not in use to reduce strain.
Prevent Physical Damage: Protect the screen from impacts. Implement passive protection (like tempered glass) or ensure active care during cleaning and installation to avoid scratches or cracks.
Professional Service Only: Never let unqualified personnel disassemble the unit. The components are delicate and may involve high voltage. Only certified technicians should handle internal repairs.
Keep It Clean: Use high-purity distilled water or anti-static solutions with a microfiber cloth. Always cut the power before cleaning and never spray liquid directly on the surface to prevent moisture ingress.

“Caterpillar” Lines (Bright lines on black screen): This usually means an LED chip is leaking or there is a driver IC short circuit. You can isolate the issue by heating the problematic LED. If it disappears, it is a chip leak. If not, measure and replace the faulty IC.
Missing Color Blocks: When you see regular, square areas of missing color, it typically points to a faulty driver IC. You will need to replace the driver IC to fix it.
Black Screen (Partial or Full): For a partial blackout, check the power indicator and power cable connections. For a large-area black screen, use the same troubleshooting method to check the power supply.
